98 Years-Young Wentzville Woman Inspires Community

November 7, 1915, the Boston Red Sox just defeated the Philadelphia Phillies in the World Series, slugger Babe Ruth hit his first career home run and D.W. Griffith's the Birth of a Nation was newly released.

This was the same year Florence Greco was born.

 

FREE Fall Wagon Days at Rescue Ranch

 

The Humane Society of Missouri's Longmeadow Rescue Ranch is hosting "Wagon Days" filled with free, fun activities for people of all ages and informative sessions about adopting and caring for farm animals. The event is a FREE, Family Fun experience to be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at the Longmeadow Rescue Ranch. 

 

Auto Repair Shop Donates Services

Autotech Auto Center located in O'Fallon, MO, along with 19 other local area Napa Auto Care Centers banded together to donate a combined total of $10,000 in automotive repair and services to local deserving recipients.

The Napa Auto Care Centers were from the St. Louis Bi-state area, and along with Napa Parts Stores, and Race Car Driver Ron Kapps, all pulled together to make this a rewarding effort.

Wentzville 13th Annual Turkey Trot

13th Annual Turkey Trot at Rotary Park The City of Wentzville host this 5K or 1-mile fun run perfect for beginners to seasoned athletes of all ages! The race is held at Rotary Park, 2577 W. Meyer Rd and begins at 8:30am.

There are nine age groups for both the 5k and one-mile walk/run. Divisions range from 10 & under to 70 & older age groups. The first 150 entrants will receive an official "Wentzville Turkey Trot" t-shirt.
