Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital Auxiliary Offers $10K in Scholarships for 2011

With the cost of higher education on the rise, Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital wants to help offset some of that burden.  Until May 15, the Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital Auxiliary will accept applications for five $2,000 scholarships for college students seeking careers in human health care-related fields.

BJSPH hospital chaplain Jenny Hanksmeyer, PhD (back) proudly introduces Mr. and Mrs. Robert “Scottie” Scott to the cardiology unit immediately following their wedding ceremony ending a 22-year courtship. The St. Patty’s Day bride, Mary Donahue, carried a bouquet of yellow rose gifted to her by hospital employees.
