Can Your Child Borrow $25 From You?

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated to find his 5-year-old son waiting for him at the door.
SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?'

DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man.

SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'

Beauty is in the 'Heart' of the Beholder

There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She told her boyfriend, 'If I could only see the world, I will marry you.'
One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came off, she was able to see everything, including her boyfriend.

The Last Poem of Life

I was shocked, confused, bewildered
As I entered Heaven's door,
Not by the beauty of it all,

Nor the lights or its decor.
Herb, who I always thought
Was rotting away in hell,
Was sitting pretty on cloud nine,
Looking incredibly well.

Life Lessons from Professor Bow-Wow

If a dog was the teacher you would learn things like:

Learn from Nature

THE BUZZARD:
If you put a buzzard in a pen that is 6 feet by 8 feet and is entirely open at the top, the bird, in spite of its ability to fly, will be an absolute prisoner.. The reason is that a buzzard always begins a flight  from the ground with a run of 10 to 12 feet. Without space to run, as is its habit, it will not even attempt to fly, but will remain a prisoner for life in a small jail with no top.

Ronald Reagan Words of Wisdom

'Here's my strategy on the Cold War:  We win, they lose.'  Ronald Reagan
'The most terrifying words in the English language are: I'm from the government and I'm here to help.'  Ronald Reagan
'The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they're ignorant; it's just that they know so much that isn't so.'  Ronald Reagan
'Of the four wars in my lifetime, none came about because the   U.S.  was too strong.' Ronald Reagan

The Lord Works in Mysterious Ways

'Watch out! You nearly broad sided that car!' My father yelled at me. 'Can't you do anything right?' Those words hurt worse than blows. I turned my head toward the elderly man in the seat beside me, daring me to challenge him. A lump rose in my throat as I averted my eyes. I wasn't prepared for another battle.

Always Remember

Whatever  your cross,
whatever  your pain,
there  will always be sunshine, after the  rain....
Perhaps  you may stumble, perhaps even fall;
But  God's always ready, to answer your  call....
He  knows every heartache, sees every tear,
a  word from His lips, can calm every  fear...
Your  sorrows may linger, throughout the  night,
But  suddenly vanish, by dawn's early  light...

Interesting Thoughts for the Day

` Accept that some days you're the pigeon, And some days you're the statue.

` Always keep your words soft and sweet, Just in case you have to eat them.

` Always wear stuff that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it.

Something to Think About…

Two Wolves

One evening an old Cherokee told his  grandson about a battle that goes on inside  people. He  said, ' My son, the battle is between two ' wolves ' inside us  all.
