HUNTER SAFETY CLASS

 

The City of Warrenton will host a free Missouri Hunter Safety Education Skills Class for ages 11 and up. It will be held on March 21st, 2015 at Warrenton City Maintenance Building, located at 631 West Booneslick Warrenton, MO 63383. The Skills Session will be offered at two separate times, 8:00 am-12:00 pm and 1:00 pm-5:00 pm.

NATIONAL PRESERVATION ORGANIZATION CITES INADEQUATE FUNDING FOR MISSOURI STATE PARKS

The National Trust for Historic Preservation today issued its annual listing of the most endangered historic places in the United States, and heading the list are the nation's state park systems.  "It is a dubious honor that Missouri is featured as a 'prime example' of threatened state parks, along with five other states including California and New York," said Susan Flader, president of the Missouri Parks Association.

Missouri Kicks Off Fishing Season With 25th Annual Fish Advisory

It offers information about the benefits of eating fish as part of a healthy diet. And it warns anglers about recommended limits on eating fish caught in certain Missouri streams.
