Cummings is the former lead singer of The Guess Who and wrote or co-wrote many of the band’s biggest hits. His band will anchor two days of great entertainment provided FREE to the public during the City of St. Peters’ biggest festival, all along the lake at 370 Lakeside Park.

KSHE-95 presents the Saturday night action on the Main Stage, beginning with Firefall, which opens at 7 p.m. with classic rock sounds and hits like “Strange Way,” “You are the Woman” and “Just Remember I Love You.” Then, enjoy a fantastic fireworks show over the lake before The Burton Cummings Band takes the stage.

The weekend of great classic rock kicks off on Friday night, Sept. 18, when Mid Rivers Newsmagazine and The Big 550 KTRS present headliner Poco and special guests Rogers and Nienhaus on the Main Stage at Celebrate St. Peters. Music on the Main Stage will begin at 7 p.m.

Saturday’s lineup of entertainment starts early in the day with some popular local acts who will rock the KFAV and The Viper 100.7 Celebrate Stage at the Corporate Pavilion. Serapis opens the Celebrate Stage at noon followed by Butch Wax and The Hollywoods with Theo Peoples at 3 p.m.

Plenty of family entertainment is also planned on Saturday at the Community News Family Stage near the carnival grounds beginning at 11 a.m. Childbloom Guitar Program of St. Charles County, Abra-Kid-Abra, Excel Performing Arts, Monkey Tales Theatre and Mad Science of St. Louis will perform.
