O’Fallon Church Encouraging Families to Have Fun Together On Easter.

“Kids, hurry up and get in the car!  We’re going to be late for bowling and laser tag!’  Not exactly the type of conversation you’d expect to hear from families rushing out the door on Easter Sunday.  One O’Fallon church is hoping to have something to say about that though. “In a day when eating meals as a family has become a rare event in many homes, we want to provide families with a ready-made event to spend some time together.” says Pastor Sam Byers of Tree of Life Community Church.  That’s why the new, non-denominational church will be holding its Easter Sunday service at Brunswick Zone XL located at 8070 Veterans Memorial Parkway in St. Peters.

“Easter is about celebration.  The Bible teaches that the only person to ever live a perfect life died and rose again defeating death, sin, and Satan and we believe that’s something worth celebrating.  We also believe there are lots of ways to celebrate the kind of life that Jesus provides so we’re hoping families and individuals will stick around after service to use free game cards, eat lunch together in the restaurant, and take advantage of special rates on bowling and laser tag.”

Services on Easter, which falls on April 8th this year, will begin at 9:30am.  The community is invited to arrive early for coffee and doughnuts.  Childcare will be provided for children ages six weeks through kindergarten.  For more information about Easter Sunday or other services, check out the church’s website at or on Facebook at  The church’s phone number is (636) 525-1JOY.
