Lindenwood’s J. Scheidegger Center Announces 2015-16 Season

Lindenwood University’s J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts announces its 2015-2016 professional season lineup, its seventh season since the $32 million performing arts center opened, with a full slate of legendary performers, led by the timeless Tony The Lindenwood Theater Main Stage Season consists of nine touring performances that includes a mix of music, comedy, and theatre.


Performances include (in chronological order) Tony Bennett (Sept. 19), The Doobie Brothers (Oct. 10), Natalie Cole (Dec. 12), Frank Sinatra Jr. (Dec. 19), Sinbad (Jan. 30), Michael Bolton (Feb. 11), Stayin’ Alive (March 19), the touring production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (April 7), and Roots and Boots (April 16).


Current season ticket-holders may renew their tickets through July 10 by calling the box office at 636-949-4433. Tickets for individual shows will be available online only at July 13 through 26 and at the Scheidegger Center box office, starting 9


The Box Office is located in Lindenwood’s J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts, at 2300 West Clay St., just west of First Capitol Drive in St. Charles.

The Scheidegger Center enriches the local community with performances and serves as a living laboratory for the arts for the students at Lindenwood University. The campus provides a secure atmosphere, with fully accessible facilities and a family-friendly “Celebrating some of the most influential artists of our time, the ’15-’16 season has something for everyone,” said Dr. Joe Alsobrook, dean of fine and performing arts at Lindenwood University. “We are thrilled to continue offering an all-star line-up, and we look forward to welcoming another season of sell-out crowds to the incomparable J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts.”


In addition to the professional shows, the J. Scheidegger Center features multiple student productions, including music series, dance concerts, theatrical performances, art exhibits, and fashion shows, as well as several community events throughout each season.  For more information about the 2015-2016 season or to be added to the J.
