O'Fallon's Free Senior Citizens Police Academy

Seniors who are interested in police work and law enforcement issues geared to seniors are invited to attend the free Senior Citizens Police Academy 2017at the O’Fallon Senior Center, 106 North Main Street, O’Fallon, Missouri 63366. Beginning Tuesday, June 6, classes will meet from 1-2 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays through the month. No registration is necessary and all seniors are welcome. Attendance is encouraged at every session but not required to complete the program.

Taught by the O’Fallon Police Department, the topics for the Senior Citizen Police Academy are:

June 6 – Introduction to the O’Fallon Police Department, Justice Center Update,

and O’Fallon Police Station Tour

June 8 – Fraud, Scams, Identity Theft

June 13 – Elder Abuse and Neglect

June 15 – Home Safety and Emergency Preparedness

June 20 – Drug Take-back program, Crisis Intervention Team, Social Media

and Police Dispatch

June 22 – SWAT Team Demonstration

June 27 – Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Response

June 29 – O’Fallon Police K9 Demo, Graduation
