Saint Charles Riverfront Arts (SCRA) Receives Grant

Saint Charles Riverfront Arts (SCRA) received a sizable grant from The Grainger Foundation during the third quarter of 2013, in support of their 2013/2014 community arts education programs.

Saint Charles Riverfront Art received the grant through The Grainger Foundation in the Grainger Community Grant Program, which helps to address local community needs throughout the United States. The Grainger Foundation is an independent, private foundation that was established in 1949 by William Wallace Grainger, the Company’s founder.

This grant was bestowed upon SCRA from the local Grainger branch, located at 9 Commerce Drive in O’Fallon, Missouri.

Saint Charles Riverfront Arts 2013/2014 programming includes the annual Spring ArtWalk, the 2nd Thursdays community arts series, and their Artists Workshop classes. These signature programs are the primary venues to support the organization’s mission of growing an arts community throughout St. Charles County, Missouri. Saint Charles Riverfront Arts is seeking additional grants, as well as individual and corporate tax-deductible contributions.

As a 501 (c) 3 organization, SCRA can also accept tax-deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under the IRS Tax Code.
