Special Storm Debris Pickup Available to St. Peters Residents in Affected Area Along Highway 94

As a courtesy to St. Peters residents along the Highway 94 corridor who suffered tree and limb damage from the severe storm and tornado on Saturday, June 7, 2014, the City of St. Peters' Solid Waste Department is accepting calls for special yard waste storm debris collection.

This special collection is limited to St. Peters residents in those subdivisions along McClay Road and south of McClay Road in St. Peters.

St. Peters residents can call 636.970.1456, option 1, to set an appointment for storm debris pickup. Special collections will take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays beginning on Tuesday, June 10, 2014. Each day is limited to 30 special storm debris collections. The special storm debris collection program will end June 23, 2014.

This service is available only by appointment. Limbs must be no longer than 8 feet in length, and must be set at the curb for your appointed collection day.

In addition, those subdivisions along Highway 94 (McClay Road and south of McClay Road) can place bundled storm debris at the curb on their normal yard waste collection day. Bundled storm debris for normal yard waste collection days must be no longer than 3 feet in length. This service will be available through June 23, 2014.

Please remember that this service is for storm debris only (not grass). St. Peters provides regular residential yard waste collection once per week.

Residents can choose to self-haul the debris to St. Peters' Earth Centre location at no charge. Proof of residency is required. To reach Earth Centre, take Mid Rivers Mall Drive north of I-70, turn right on Ecology Drive, follow the road to the end, and then follow the signs.
